Dennis Primm was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but strong Hawaiian roots are ever present in his creations. He transforms the rigid iron into peaceful, flowing pieces, reminiscent of island breezes and ocean waves.
Dennis started Austin Steele Gallery in 1998, in his garage at home and rented a small studio in Main Street Gallery in Buford, GA. Later, he and another local artist bought and refurbished a 100-year-old farm house on Austin Street and turned it into Gallery 150. An opportunity for larger studio space and involvement in an artist colony brought Dennis to the historic building housing Tannery Row.
