A transplant from County Down, Ireland, Deb Weiser learned her love of art from her mother. "She planted a seed that still continues to grow. I love trying all forms of visual arts." Though she has a degree in commercial and fine art, she became known for her faux work and large murals first in Michigan and then in Florida. Her schedule was such that it left little time for canvas work. Recently, at the encouragement of friends and family, she joined the other wonderful artists at Tannery Row. "Having other talented artists around further inspires me. I learn from them and we all have a common bond, the love of creating."

Deb works mainly in acrylics and textures. She has also dabbled in glass, wood and clay. Her subject matter also varies greatly. "What inspires or moves me today may be different that what motivated me yesterday." Her husband jokes that while some artist are known for their "blue period" or their "floral period," which usually last years, that her focal point changes daily. "I paint was I see and what I feel," she laughingly replies. "Today it is images of objects in space, tomorrow it may be a child and the day after that? Well, I will just wait and see."

Deb's work can be seen in homes and offices from Florida to Ontario, Canada and over to Holland and Italy. She has completed commission work for American Heart Association (Florida), Dr. Vakil, The Sweat Institute, River City Grill, The Turtle Club and Duluth First United Methodist Church as well as many individuals and families.
