About The Artist:

Rosa Jang is a senior member of the TRAC and  produces over 50 paintings each year, ranging in size from 16x20 to very large, full-wall size pieces.  A foreign student from Korea in 1964 to study  Georgian Court College, Lakewood, NJ.   She received a full scholarship to study with the Art Students League of New York where she enjoyed studying under Robert Brackman.  In 1969 she married her husband of 42 years and became a citizen of the United States in 1975.

Rosa has been offered many opportunities throughout her career including a solo show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  Today she credits Gregory Krauz,and David Lefell as her favorite continuing education instructors and influences.  Rosa continues to promote art growth in the Korean community in Duluth,  GA at the Culture Center and in her home and studio to all ages.
